Warm Tuesday Expected, Storm Chances Return Wednesday

We are in for a beautiful Tuesday with sunshine and 80s, and a nice outlook this afternoon and evening.

What is the weather like on Tuesday?

Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, there is a chance for scattered showers and storms to develop.

The highest chances for storms are along and north of Interstate 40, but Wednesday afternoon will be hot with 80s and 90s in the forecast.

Gulf moisture will be lacking, but there is going to be enough instability for severe storms. Numerous storms are expected Wednesday afternoon in the west and these will spread across Oklahoma through the evening.

There is a low risk these storms become severe. The main threats are hail and damaging winds. There is a very low tornado risk Wednesday. There will be additional storms Thursday and these could also be severe.
